I was contacted by Almondina to see if I would like to review their new line of products on my blog...Well of course I did!
Almondina sent me a variety box of their newest snacks, Toastees. Almondina cookies have been on the market for over a quarter of a century. Toastees are a new snack/cookie, that is the first product introduced by the next generation of the Almondina family. The flavors included in my sample pack were:
- Coconut Orange Almond
- Cranberry Almond
- Sesame Almond
So, I have a dirty secret, I am addicted to cookies, I can say no to pastries, cakes, ice cream, even a candy bar, but I can never say no to a cookie (unless it's oatmeal raisin). After trying Almondina Toastees, I could probably trade out my very bad for me cookies with these almond thins. Why? Because they have an amazing taste.
- The Coconut Orange, tastes like an orange Milano cookie, they're freaking delicious. I can't taste the coconut, but the orange is noticable.
- When eating the Sesame Almond Toastees, the first thing I taste is vanilla and the after taste is sesame flavor, they are surprisingly yummy.
- As for the Cranberry flavor, they have a mild sweet cranberry flavor. I know it's cranberry, but it reminds me of Ben & Jerry's Cherry Garcia.
I highly recommend Almondina Toastees, they are delicious, good for you, and a lower calorie snack alternative. I received samples in exchange for an honest review, my opinions are my own.
