Ornaments with Love Review & Giveaway, part 2

I was offered to review another custom ornament to review from Ornaments with Love this year, in which I was able to choose an ornament of my choice with personalization. If you remember, I posted a review on the Ornaments with Love company last year, click here to read it.

There are 2,000 ornaments to choose from and something for everyone: couples, families, babies, military, cancer survivors, all sorts of hobbies (they even have an ornament for zip lining!), sports, professions, and the list goes on. I remain very impressed with all the different options to choose from.

Because I ordered an ornament for myself last year, I decided to get one for my daughter this year. When she grows up she wants to be a Dr/Chef/Horseback rider and as much as I wanted to get her that for an ornament, that's the one ornament Ornaments with Love doesn't have, lol. So, I browsed for inspiration. As I was scrolling through their list of hobbies I came across an artists palette that would be perfect for her, since she loves to draw and paint.

Within 3 days my order arrived! The ornament I ordered is made out of resin, which is a dense type of plastic, so if it falls off the tree or man handled by an almost 5 year old, it's unlikely to break. My daughter was SO excited when I gave it to her (she actually thought it was real and asked if she could paint with it). The details are superb, while her name and year are written very nicely; it's definitely an ornament made to last and display. She carried it around with her for 2 days until she could find the perfect place to hang it, which was my closet doorknob.

I would recommend an Ornaments With Love ornament as a gift to ANYONE, no matter how old or young, it just makes such a perfect gift. Ornaments start out at $9.99 w/free personalization, plus shipping (shipping is free over $50). Order your ornament sooner rather than later because the closer it gets to Christmas, the more tied up this business gets, not to mention the super slow holiday shipping via USPS.

Girls Costume Review- Costume SuperCenter

I was given the opportunity to review a TinkerBell costume from Costume SuperCenter, which I jumped on, since my daughter loves all that is Disney.

The costume arrived neatly in a reusable bag and came with a detailed TinkerBell dress and wings (shoes are NOT provided). My daughter is only 4, but she's very tall for her age, so I had ordered her a size small (fits most children between the sizes of 4-6x).

The dress fit her perfectly and closes in the back with Velcro. On the back of the dress there are 4 Velcro pieces that are meant to attach the wings to. When I attached the wings to the dress I noticed that the Velcro does not line up with each other. There are two upper pieces and 2 lower pieces, I was able to line the upper Velcro's and a quarter of the lower, but it still seemed strong enough to endure a night of Trick or Treating.

My daughter LOVES her new costume and what's nice about it, is that is seems durable, which means after Halloween, she'll be able to wear it again and again for dress-up. What's nice about it for ME, is that I can pair my costume with hers, I picked up pieces of clothing from Goodwill and I'll be a pirate, which will go nicely since the Pirate Fairy movie just came out.

This TinkerBell costume is available at Costume SuperCenter online for $26.39, but right now you can get 20% off using code X20 at checkout.

Material:
  • Top Front bodice and Front bodice flowers 100% Nylon
  • Top and Skirt lining 100% polyester
  • Top Layer skirt and wings 100% Nylon
  • Front skirt panels and cameo leaves 100% Polyester
I received this product for free in exchange for an honest review, my opinions are my own.
