Jack the Giant Slayer has just been released on DVD and Blu-Ray June 18th! I've been dying to see this movie since it came out in theaters, I'm a big fan of Ewan McGregor and love Fairy Tale type story lines.

Nutrisystem Week 22

So my goal last week was to lose 1.6 lbs...I didn't make it, BUT I was super close, I lost 1.4 lbs, bringing my total weight loss on Nutrisystem (in 22 weeks) down to 29.8 lbs.

Even though I didn't hit my goal right on I will still post the pictures I promised. The picture below on the left is of me at 200 lbs AFTER I had lost 11 lbs (I was too embarrassed to take a true before picture of me at 211 lbs). The picture on the right is my now picture after I've lost ~30 lbs.

What comes to mind when I see my "Before" picture is...ew and I don't look at all happy, oh and LOL where did I get that butt. My Now picture I look happier (yeah, even though my boobies are shrinking and I have no butt). It's actually pretty amazing to see the difference.

I've lost (almost) 30 lbs thus far, but I'm not done yet; I have 5 lbs left until I reach my goal weight of 176 (35 lbs). There's still 6 weeks left on my Nutrisystem program and since summer is here, I'm going to take advantage of the great weather and hopefully lose more.

Pet stores that care about puppies don't sell them. That's because the majority of pet stores that sell puppies carry dogs from cruel and inhumane puppy mills. Puppy mills are like dog-making factories with the mother dogs spending their entire lives in cramped cages or kennels with little or no personal attention or quality of life. When the mother and father dogs can no longer breed, they are discarded or killed. Consumers who purchase puppies from pet stores or over the Internet without seeing a breeder's home firsthand are often unknowingly supporting this cruel industry.

Help stop this cycle of cruelty simply by choosing to adopt your next pet from a shelter or rescue, or by only purchasing a dog from a responsible breeder who will show you where your puppy was born and raised. And that's not all—you can do even more by refusing to buy pet supplies from any store or website that sells puppies. Where you spend your dollars makes a difference. Make a statement when you shop!
