Simple Cups Review

I was given the opportunity to review a product called Simple Cups. Simple cups are EMPTY disposable K-cups for Keurig brewers. The idea of this products is just so simple and genius.

I received a 50 count box, which included 50 lids, cups, filters and holder. When I went to use them I was excited to find that they were so easy to use. All you have to do is drop a filter in the cup, fill it with the desired amount of coffee (YOU get to choose the strength of your coffee!), and press the lid down onto the top of the cup, until sealed. They give you a nifty little holder that you can place the cup in, so the cup doesn't get squished when you press it down (it does take a bit of pressure to seal it, so I can see why the holder is included).



Another great feature, besides the simplicity and the fact you can control the strength of your coffee, is that the cups are white, so you can easily write your name or what kind of coffee it is on them.



Simple cups would be perfect for someone who:
  • Has a Keurig in their office and want to bring coffee from home.
  • Freebie receivers, I know I get quite a bit of free coffee samples and usually end up giving them away because I have a Keurig, but now I don't have to; one sample sized bag can fill 6 of these cups half way.
  • Has a favorite coffee that's not yet available in K-Cup form 




I recommend these to anyone with a Keurig, whether at home or in office, they definitely get an A+ in my book.

      Nutrisystem Week 22


      So my goal last week was to lose 1.6 lbs...I didn't make it, BUT I was super close, I lost 1.4 lbs, bringing my total weight loss on Nutrisystem (in 22 weeks) down to 29.8 lbs.


      Even though I didn't hit my goal right on I will still post the pictures I promised. The picture below on the left is of me at 200 lbs AFTER I had lost 11 lbs (I was too embarrassed to take a true before picture of me at 211 lbs). The picture on the right is my now picture after I've lost ~30 lbs.





      What comes to mind when I see my "Before" picture is...ew and I don't look at all happy, oh and LOL where did I get that butt. My Now picture I look happier (yeah, even though my boobies are shrinking and I have no butt). It's actually pretty amazing to see the difference.

      I've lost (almost) 30 lbs thus far, but I'm not done yet; I have 5 lbs left until I reach my goal weight of 176 (35 lbs). There's still 6 weeks left on my Nutrisystem program and since summer is here, I'm going to take advantage of the great weather and hopefully lose more.

      Pledge to Stop Puppy Mills



      Pet stores that care about puppies don't sell them. That's because the majority of pet stores that sell puppies carry dogs from cruel and inhumane puppy mills. Puppy mills are like dog-making factories with the mother dogs spending their entire lives in cramped cages or kennels with little or no personal attention or quality of life. When the mother and father dogs can no longer breed, they are discarded or killed. Consumers who purchase puppies from pet stores or over the Internet without seeing a breeder's home firsthand are often unknowingly supporting this cruel industry.

      Help stop this cycle of cruelty simply by choosing to adopt your next pet from a shelter or rescue, or by only purchasing a dog from a responsible breeder who will show you where your puppy was born and raised. And that's not all—you can do even more by refusing to buy pet supplies from any store or website that sells puppies. Where you spend your dollars makes a difference. Make a statement when you shop!
