#NYCBigBold VoxBox Review

I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes

Influenster sent me the #NYCBigBold VoxBox, inside it came with the NYC Big Bold Angel Lash Mascara and NYC Big Bold & Precise Felt Tip Liner.

I was so excited when I was approved for this VoxBox because mascara and eyeliner are actually the only two makeup items I use on a regular basis. That excitement quickly died down when I first used them though.

The first item I used was the NYC Big Bold & Precise Felt Tip Liner. I can only compare it to using a sharpie as eyeliner. It smells, something awful, like a marker and it's as thick as one too. BUT it went on very smooth and was surprisingly somewhat easy to remove (I mess up a lot, so that's a plus for me).

After applying the eyeliner I moved onto the NYC Big Bold Angel Lash Mascara, where I was completely disappointed. When mascara says bold, I expect my lashes to look thick after application. My eyelashes looked very thin, no boldness at all, they actually didn't look much different to me.

The picture above: I have nothing on for makeup, my face was just washed. The after picture is me with just the NYC eyeliner and mascara on.

In the end I would recommend the eyeliner if you can get past the smell (I'm not joking, it has a STRONG marker smell), but I would not recommend the mascara because I don't think it did much for me.
