Emi Yoshi Review

When I asked to do a review for Emi Yoshi on one of their products, I wasn't sure what to expect. The first time I heard of them, was when I got word of a giveaway they were doing for a set of their bowls on facebook, and with my kitten like reflexes...I missed them lol, not just once but 3 or 4 times (insert sad face).

Anyway, after having no luck with the giveaway, I asked an Emi Yoshi Marketing Manager if he could send me a product to review (and one to giveaway), he very pleasantly and said he'd be happy to, so right off the bat they seemed like a very friendly, accommodating company.

Today I received the Emi Yoshi products, which included: 128 oz., 64 oz., and 32 oz. serving bowls. The Marketing Manager had sent me a picture, so I knew what I was getting and what to expect, but I was still shocked that plastic could look so chic. I was so excited to see the bowls, that when I took them out of the box I threw what I thought were dividers aside and just admired the set. Ten minutes later sitting on the couch looking at the bowls, it hit me those weren't dividers they were lids (yes, I have wicked mommy brain)! What that realization did for me was bring the bowls from cool classy serving bowls to wickedly awesome can't wait to go to someones party and show them off bowls.

I LOVE the serving bowls, they are chic, durable, and something I wouldn't be petrified of leaving at someone's house. They are the perfect size the 128 oz would be perfect for a salads, the 64oz would be great for veggies, and the 32 oz fantastic for dips.

To be honest it's almost embarrassing raving about the lids, but I can't help it. I know I'm not the only one who somewhat freaks out when they have to bring something to a party because they either have to bring the food in chinsey looking tupperware or bring a nice glass dish that they have to worry about all night, not to mention covering it with cellophane or tinfoil. I HATE cellophane I don't care if the box says it will stick no matter what...LIES, I say! It never sticks and the food gets everywhere. With the Emi Yoshi bowls I don't have to worry about anything; I don't have to be embarrassed of the dish (because they are fancy looking), I don't have to worry about them spilling over in the car because they have snug fitting covers, and since they are a solid plastic I don't have to worry about them flopping, bending, or shrinking (you know the cheap tupperware I'm talking about). Not to mention they seem really easy to clean, the bowl itself has a flat clean surface without any lips or crannies that are impossible to get at.

In my opinion the Emi Yoshi products I received are fantastic and they aren't a one trick pony either, along with the bowls, I received a catalog of their products, there is a FULL 65 pages of just their products in it. So, if you're a caterer, planning a wedding, or any type of party I HIGHLY recommend checking Emi Yoshi out.

Also don't forget to friend them on facebook, they hold giveaways every now and then and who doesn't like a giveaway :)
