Please note: If you choose to take part in any of these freebies or discounts you will need to bring in proof of your service, like a DD214, military ID, go in in uniform, a Leave and Earnings statement, or your VFW or Legions card. Military ID would be your best bet though.

B&B for Vets -Participating Bed and Breakfasts are offering a complimentary room for a Veteran and guest on Sunday (November 10th) or Monday (November 11th).
Free Admission Into Knott’s Berry Farm – From November 4-27, 2013, veterans and those on active military duty can get free admission to Knott’s Berry Farm for themselves and one other
Free Haircuts at Sports Clips – Veterans and active duty U.S. service members can stop into participating Sports Clips on Monday, November 11, 2013 to get a free haircut.
Free Haircuts at Great Clips - Veterans and active/inactive/retired military members can stop into Great Clips on Monday, November 11 and get a free haircut or pickup a free haircut card to use before the end of the year. Anyone can stop in to get their haircut and receive a free haircut card they can give to a veteran. These cards will also be available on their Facebook page.
Free Night Lodging at B&B’s Around the Country – Vets can stay the night at over 200 participating B&B’s and inns around the country on Sunday, November 10 and Monday, November 11, 2013. Reservations for your free stay can be made now and are only available while supplies last. There are also many Canadian B&Bs participating this year.
Home Depot and Lowe’s- The 10% military discount is available to: Active-duty military members, National Guard and Reserve members, retirees, honorably discharged veterans and immediate family members of all those groups are eligible. Customers requesting a discount must be able to show a valid military ID card or other proof of military service (a DD Form 214 or VFW membership may qualify).

Free Entrance Into National Parks – Over 100 national parks will waive admission fees on November 9-11, 2013 in honor of Veteran’s Day.

Seaworld Parks & Entertainment-Veterans get 50% off tickets now through November 11th, 2013. Seaworld properties include Sea World, Aquatica, Busch Gardens, Sesame Place, Adventure Island, Water Country USA and Discovery Cove. Active Duty military members who already used their free admission for the year can also get 50% off tickets

Brides Across America- During the month of November Brides Across America is partnering with bridal salons across the nation to giveaway wedding dresses to qualified military brides. All military brides must pre-register online.

Bed Bath and Beyond - 20 % off entire purchase through 11/11 for Active duty military and veterans along with their family members.
Walgreens – 15% off discount on eligible store items
Food Lion – 10% off all groceries on 11/11 – (some exclusions apply) for Active & Retired Military Personnel with military ID and MVP card.
Dollar General - 11% discount on entire purchase on Veterans Day 11/11. Offer good for all active-duty military, retirees, veterans, Guard/Reserve, & immediate family members. The coupon can be found in the store circular, or by asking an employee. Also good online.
Big Lots – 10% off entire purchase on 11/9 - Offer available to active duty, Guard/Reserve, veterans, retirees and their immediate family members, with valid ID. Please call ahead to verify.
JcPenney – Extra 20% off purchases through 11/11
Jo Ann Fabric and Craft Stores - Jo Ann Fabric and Craft stores will be having Military Discount Days through 11/15. where military members, past and present, along with military dependents, can get 20% off their total purchase
