Beach Windscreen/Playpen Review

As most of you know, I live in Vermont, which means the beaches are decent for about 3 months out of the year, so you may be wondering why I requested to review a Beach Windscreen/Playpen, especially since my baby is now 5 years old and it's late late fall, almost winter. Well, mainly it's because I have a new baby; his name is Liam and he's an American Bully, I thought it would be a nice outside playpen for him.

Product Description: This one of a kind, 5 in 1 beach screen/Playpen helps prevent kicked and blowing sand while laying flat on your blanket. This product also features a bottom which helps to eliminate sand on your blanket or towel and also serves as a baby playpen. Their one of a kind beach Screen is multi-configural and can be made from a family set up into a temporary sandbox and/or baby playpen, as well as beach games. It allows you to create and maintain your space at the beach and does not block your view or other beach goers view of the beach. The product not only comes assembled and ready to use, there are also O rings so that the poles do not fall out of the fabric of the beach screen.

When it arrived I was shocked at how small it was, it's shorter then my arm and VERY light (3lbs).
As I began setting it up inside, I had an o, crap moment. This product is NOT for indoors and NOT for grassy areas, there aren't any pegs for the ground and there's no way that it can stand on it's own without being stuck into something. This is for beach use ONLY, the poles are hollow and get put directly into the sand. So, my idea of using it as a puppy playpen, was shot out the window.

Even though I wasn't able to use this product first hand, I still like it. It's a very smart idea and the compactness and light weight of it is a huge appeal to me, the fact that there's a fabric tarp with it is also great (yay, no sandy towels).

I will be using this product come summertime, mostly for playing games and laying my towels out on. I would highly recommend it to someone looking to keep a baby/toddler in a safe zone at the beach or if you're looking for a little bit of privacy. The only thing that I would do to improve upon this product was make it so you could use it on grassy areas also.

I received this product free of charge in exchange for an honest review, my opinions are my own.
