Skinny Girl On-The-Go Bars Review

I received a free Skinny Girl On-The-Go Bar in my Sweatheart VoxBox from Influenster and while it took me a while to actually try it because I was nervous about how it would taste, I'm happy to report that it tastes great.

I received the Coco-nut  with Peanut Butter bar flavor and for some reason I thought there was going to be peanuts in it, I was happily surprised that it's just the peanut butter and coconut, think of an Almond Joy, without the almond and instead of chocolate there was peanut butter, that's about how it tasted.

The Skinny Girl bars come in 4 different flavors:
On a positive note these bars are Kosher, Natural, high in fiber, have 9g of Protein, 2% Calcium, 20% Vitamin E, and 8% Iron.

The negative part is that these babies have a whopping 22g of carbs, 180 calories, and have 10g of fat. Compared to a Sunbelt chocolate chip granola bar (21g of carbs, 140 calories, 5g of fat, 2g of protein) that's an increase in everything, except the protein and the vitamins.

Another negative aspect of these bars is that they sell for $12.99 a 5 pack on their website! I can buy a 10 pack of Sunbelt granola bars, that actually seem healthier for $2.50 a box.

So, while I was impressed with the taste and the name, I wouldn't really recommend these to anyone because it's an over priced not so healthy bar, you'd be better off buying a box of Granola Bars you like and a jar of Vitamins.

Join Influenster today (you can request an invitation from their site).
Then participate, qualify, and receive a VoxBox full of goodies to try and review just like I did!

"I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes."
